Snow

snowI woke up December 17th to the sight of beautiful snowflakes coming down upon us from the heavens; and I thought to myself…it’s not even winter yet.  Wow.

One of my first thoughts was should I go out and shovel now and reap the benefits of the exercise and experience of breathing in and exposing myself to the now temporally clean air (a consequence of the snowfall itself).  I love the fact that it does clean our air; or do I go into my lazy persona and get someone else to do it?  During the time I was igloopondering this all important question, someone else did it and I was spared the weight of the responsibility of that decision.

One of the things that came to mind as I watched people cleaning up the snow was the vision of Eskimos building an Igloo .  I thought it would be interesting to be involved with that kind of an asnowflake-with-blue-horizon-backroundactivity as I have once been involved with build mud and straw bricks for a mud hut and then helped with the building of that structure.

I also thought of the works of Dr. Masaru Emoto with his work regarding The Power of Thoughts and using water crystals frozen into snowflakes to demonstrate “The power of your thoughts”.  and how it relates directly with our essence of life here which is our water , the source of life on this planet.

Turned out that the glory of this snow fall didn’t last long; however it did give me a chance to ponder the wonder of winter and to appreciate the beauty of it; though it be brief.  Happy holidays to you all.  Rebecca
