Its so important that we define our goals for health before we start this allows us to bring critical information utilizing it will make the needed changes easier and more effective in the overall health program. 1) to define long term goals regarding health including discussing health concerns issues that exist family and personal health issues and how long term  you wish to bring change by making healthy choices towards diet and daily activity

2) Take a few days or as much time as needed to write up a list of whys and why nots this should be focused on that you need to really dig deep to get a perspective that help you not only understand but how your choices can remove negative foods and habits that have profound affects on your health and longevity.

3) Write up a list of positive goals to the things you are trying to bring change to ie why i want to lose weight? to feel better and have more energy;

getting onto a ketogenic diet and how this healthy choice can stop damage being experiences by diabetes in my life through sugar and carbohydrates  more energy  better organ health not having to worry about the thousands of issues that diabetes can cause in my life or how already existing issues can be stopped or managed better.

the search should be for ;positive change through bold choices that bring about health lots of exercise healthy choices towards diet and how we treat our body getting enough rest.
