Dietary fiber is not well understood. There is a lot of wrong information in the public about dietary fiber but there are also many anecdotal studies that indicate that where a traditional diet of high fiber and natural foods are replaced with a modern diet of low fiber and processed foods that health deteriorates. Some studies indicate fiber may provide reduced risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and breast and colon cancers.[1] Fiber can help you lose weight by replacing high calorie, high carbohydrate foods with no calorie, no carbohydrate fiber in addition to the fact that fiber may help block absorption of calories and provide indirect biochemical benefits to the human body, regulation of the digestion process and a sense of fullness.

Traditionally all dietary fiber is from plant sources and is broken into two main categories, water soluble and water insoluble.  Water soluble fibers are also called gums. All plants contain both type of fiber in various degrees. The insoluble fibers are generally the structural parts of the plant while the soluble fibers are generally the wet part of the plant. They absorb water, slow down the emptying of the stomach and make you feel full. Soluble fibers can also help lower LDL (so-called bad) cholesterol by modifying absorption.[2]  Insoluble fiber is considered gut-healthy fiber because it allows for easier fecal management by the body but is also digested by bacterial in the gut which produces important byproducts used by the body. Insoluble fiber is actually the largest amount of fiber we eat when eating raw, natural fruits, nuts and vegetables. Calling this fiber insoluble is not truly accurate because insoluble fiber can hold water.

A traditional whole foods diet consisting mostly of vegetables, nuts and fruits is rich in both soluble and insoluble fiber.

One of the reasons that fiber doesn’t get the respect that it should is because it is not understood. Many professionals think that fiber enters the body and exits the body mostly unchanged. That is far from the truth and in fact the effects of fiber on the body are profound. In my personal opinion dietary fiber should be considered an essential nutrient as critical to good health as Vitamin C.

Let’s review the assumption, that fiber enters and exits the body mostly unchanged. This has been proven to be false. First, fiber is digested by bacteria in the human gut. The amount of digestion is determined by many factors including the health of the subject and the type of fiber. For example, in a mixed diet fed to healthy individuals 70 to 80% of the fiber is digested during passage in the gut.[3] Cellulosic fiber survives digestion better than water soluble fibers. The significant fact is that dietary fiber is used in the body and not expelled. In healthy individuals only 17% of the solid matter in feces is fiber but 55% is bacteria and the remainder is undigested food, water, mineral salts and dead cells.[4]

The liver generates bile to aid in the digestion of fats in the digestive system. Bile is made from cholesterol which is why anything that increases the production of bile decreases bloodstream cholesterol. The body generally mistakes soluble fiber as fats for the purpose of bile generation, however since fiber is not a fat it is not digested by the bile.  Bile is fat soluble so it binds other fat soluble toxins in the intestines.  Unfortunately instead of the bile being expelled it is reabsorbed back into the blood. This changes when in the presence of insoluble fiber.  The bile salts and its load of toxins bind to the insoluble fiber which is then expelled from the body.[5] This provides a triple benefit to the body. It lowers cholesterol by a natural process. It gently sponges toxins and expels them from the intestines. It acts as a stimulate for the liver and digestive processes by increasing the production of bile. Increasing the flow of bile may help to prevent the formation of bile stones.

Humans exist as a mix of human and other living organisms normally living in healthful harmony.[6] Many of these organisms are bacterial and a few fungi. Even some of the harmful bacteria are now thought to provide important benefits to humans when existing in harmony.[7] Beneficial microorganisms are called symbiotes. Exactly what symbiotes are needed for human health is unknown and largely unstudied.

Earlier I mentioned that bacteria use the fiber in the gut. One of the results of this bacteria digestion is the release of Inositol from phytic acid found in insoluble fiber. Inositol improves metabolism of cholesterol and helps depression, insomnia and fibromyalgia. In addition to Inositol these same bacteria create Vitamin K which helps the body manage bruising and blood clotting, Biotin (B7) and Vitamin K2.  K vitamins help in the management of calcium and from the buildup of calcium in soft tissue. Since humans are unable to store much Vitamin K this source is important.[8] Without a diet rich in both types of fiber these bacteria have no food and produce no beneficial results.

This paragraph is quoted from WikipediaWhen soluble fiber is fermented in the gut, short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) are produced.  SCFAs are involved in numerous physiological processes promoting health. Some of these may be to help stabilize blood glucose levels by acting on pancreatic insulin release and liver control of glycogen breakdown,  stimulate gene expression of glucose transporters in the intestinal mucosa, regulating glucose absorption,  provide nourishment of colonocytes, particularly by the SCFA butyrate, suppress cholesterol synthesis by the liver and reduce blood levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides responsible for atherosclerosis, lower colonic pH (i.e., raises the acidity level in the colon) which protects the lining from formation of colonic polyps and increases absorption of dietary minerals stimulate production of T helper cells, antibodies, leukocytes, cytokines, and lymph mechanisms having crucial roles in immune protection, improve barrier properties of the colonic mucosal layer, inhibiting inflammatory and adhesion irritants contributing to immune functions. SCFAs that are absorbed by the colonic mucosa pass through the colonic wall into the portal circulation (supplying the liver), and the liver transports them into the general circulatory system. Overall, SCFAs affect major regulatory systems, such as blood glucose and lipid levels, the colonic environment, and intestinal immune functions. The major SCFAs in humans are butyrate, propionate, and acetate, where butyrate is the major energy source for colonocytes, propionate is destined for uptake by the liver, and acetate enters the peripheral circulation to be metabolized by peripheral tissues.”

The University of Kentucky published a paper on the health benefits of dietary fiber[9]. Among these benefits they found that people with a diet high in dietary fiber may be at significantly lower risk for developing coronary heart disease, stroke, hypertension, diabetes, obesity and some gastrointestinal diseases. Increasing dietary fiber lowered blood pressure and serum cholesterol levels, significantly increased weight loss in obese individuals and benefited the gastrointestinal disorders of gastro esophageal reflux disease, duodenal ulcer, diverticulitis, constipation, and hemorrhoids. They also found that increasing dietary fiber in the diet improves glycemia and insulin sensitivity in non-diabetic and diabetic individuals. Their paper also points out that prebiotic dietary fiber may enhance immune function and that the benefits of fiber may be similar for both children and adults. They recommend that dietary fiber intakes for children and adults are 14 g/1000 kcal and point out that more research is needed. While this is a useful figure for industrial food designers it is not very useful for someone attempting to eat a fiber rich diet from their refrigerator.

A more useful figure is provided by the United States National Academy of Sciences, Institute of Medicine who suggest that adults should consume 20–35 grams of dietary fiber per day, but the average American’s daily intake of dietary fiber is only 12–18 grams.[10]

The ADA recommends a minimum of 20–35 g/day for a healthy adult depending on calorie intake (e.g., a 2000 Cal/8400 kJ diet should include 25 g of fiber per day). The ADA’s recommendation for children is that intake should equal age in years plus 5 g/day (e.g., a 4 year old should consume 9 g/day).  No guidelines have yet been established for the elderly or very ill.

The British Nutrition Foundation has recommended a minimum fiber intake of 18 g/day for healthy adults.

These figures are the suggested minimum values of grams per day of dietary fiber someone should eat to obtain benefits. Will there be more benefits with more fiber? Will eating too much fiber harm? There is very little information to answer these questions and therefor they are unanswered. My best guess is that eating more will not be harmful as long as it is kept within reason and is used in an acceptable form. It appears that the minimum amount of fiber to gain health benefits is somewhere between 18 and 38 grams of dietary fiber per day for healthy adults. For the sake of argument I will accept 35 grams per day for adults as the minimum daily intake of dietary fiber to provide benefits.

How much food do you have to eat to consume 35 grams per day of fiber? The Mayo Clinic has a guide to answer this question at http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/high-fiber-foods/NU00582. An extract of some of the more common foods are:

Split peas cooked 1 cup is 16.3 grams                 You would need to eat 2.14 cups of split peas

Boiled Broccoli 1 cup is 5.1 grams             You would need to eat 6.86 cups

Since fiber appears to hold significant value for health it should increase life expectancy. There is in fact a study completed by the US National Institute of Health and the American Association of Retired People (NIH-AARP) that I quote, “We found that dietary fiber intake was significantly inversely associated with risk of total death in both men and women.”[11] This means that eating more fiber may increase your life expectancy!

Is there anything wrong with dietary fiber? Unfortunately there is no free lunch. Everything has a benefit tradeoff and dietary fiber is no exception. Dietary fiber may slow down the transit time of prescription drugs causing unexpected serum levels of the drug. This has been observed with opioids but is easy to manage by a trained medical professional.[12] In addition mixing dietary fiber with opioids drugs may cause severe constipation or even an obstruction requiring medical intervention. Fiber may also bind to and expel some minerals which could be a problem for people with nutritional deficiencies but these are rare in developed nations. Finally, there is always the embarrassment of flatulence which is always present when bacteria are active in the gut. Since dietary fiber is food for the good bacteria there may be increased flatulence, however some people report a reduction in the amount of flatulence with continued use of dietary fiber.

There may be one other thing wrong with dietary fiber and that is the food industry has started to call some man-made chemicals and products of bacteria and yeast that would have never been called dietary fiber, “functional” fiber.[13] In addition the US Food and Drug Administration decided in 2007 that the chemical polydextrose can legally be called fiber. This chemical is already being used in children’s foods as fiber. The problem is that no one knows if these artificial dietary fibers have any of helpful properties of natural fiber but can legally claim to be fiber.[14]

One other consideration is that not all soluble fibers have the same actions. For example, Inulin from chicory root is considered a prebiotic which promotes symbiotic bacterial but doesn’t lower cholesterol. These problems can be resolved by using a blend of many different dietary fibers. In my opinion these appear to be good tradeoffs. Increased health in exchange for a little embarrassment!

Well it’s been 17 days since Jasper fell to the floor into convulsions and into a Coma, in that time all those who loved and cared about him have been running on empty trying to drive the forces of nature to bring him back.  Most of us spend our time in deep thought not even aware of the foolish things most of our lives are wasted on arguing about things that have no relevance or real importance to us in the larger picture.

Julianne his mother is an amazing gifted musician who has played haunting sounds on her violin across America and Europe she with her beautiful blue eyes and enchanting voice who takes her life so seriously teaches music to children in Brooklyn, New York. I have heard her play and seen some of the events she has participated in at the likes of Lincoln Center and travel to eur0pe to Italy just this last summer what a precious creature she is; and here we are sitting in a box clouded with a tragic moment; Her son a wonderful smart musician himself…he loves the guitar.  Our prayers are building up along with the vibration of the universe to bring him back to us safe and sound, body mind and spirit.   We await each day his opening his eyes and acknowledging he wants to come home and spend time with family and friends.

In the world we live in it seems that no value is placed on important matters the rich and powerful ignore the huge support team below there golden gates without which their lives would toil in sorrow; how many of these people have traveled to after parties and limos to see her and listen to her play some of the most enchanting music in history and they have no idea the huge struggles that this treasure is facing each day with the hospital and her son. I would love to know how to get those people to step up and send flowers and cards of get well especially all those who in Metro New York who have seen and love her music to send so many flowers to Bellevue Hospital ICU that it looks like holland’s flower market.

Since the Universe is a Matrix and we all live on this huge beautiful planet it’s time we start to use the real power; the problems we face every day are because those same powerful people know that war death and violence keep us down burdened with sorrows that we can’t even understand we go through our days after that morning paper drowning in a deep fog of despair how can we change this how can we cope well first of all it’s time to shut off the violent video games and seek time to share with family without that ugly input to the matrix of our incredible human capacity to grow and develop into creatures far more intelligent and bold in a Universe vast and wide and the simple fact the underlying truth that if we all thought about love and compassion this world would change in a blink of the eye’s.

ITs great to see some of the advances in the world especially in the area of understanding to see the knowledge of ancient civilizations that were here millions of years ago to dispel the lies we have been trained to believe how can a Sphinx be 2 times the age of the great pyramids 50 thousand years before they were built how can we find ancient giant skeletons in a world that tells us no such things exist as they scurry to hide them in some box rather huge box away from the public eyes. This just to keep up the lies the huge advances in underwater tech show us giant temples and pyramids 18 thousand feet below the surface of the sea. and all our governments want is us to worry about terror what terror is worse than letting millions of humans starve to death from lack of food when in countries like america we throw tons of food away every day.

Wow i can get carried away back to thought if the proofs of science are true that above the earth in the magnetosphere all the species of earth have a link together they vibrate with a common frequency and communication is on a global level sadly over the last ten to twenty years entire species of mammals have been wiped out and there connections shut down we need to work harder as humans to connect and protect the energy and life on this planet maybe the huge numbers of UFO and USO are here because they won’t allow us to destroy this mecca in the center of the milky way sure there could be other places like earth but we shouldn’t allow the destruction of this one so the powerful insist they will use all the resources to take their loved ones to a far off one instead of protecting this one right under there feet.

Lets do an experiment Jasper is at Bellevue Hospital in a Coma he needs to know he is loved and come back so his family and all those who care can be part of his amazing life ahead so we all should send our thoughts and [prayers to him and his loved ones. to his mother Julie prayers for the huge efforts she has provided to our your children teaching them music in park slope Brooklyn for years. We all should take one hour  a day say in the evening to think positive and caring thoughts about this `16 year old Jasper to get well to come out of a coma being healthy and complete able to go forward with all the passion and drive i knew he has since he was a child let’s also send lots of flowers to the hospital for jasper so the doctors and staff take real notice and treat him like the president care for him with love and such concern let’s do this for the next week and see the amazing wonderful power that is free to us when we think on the same mental thoughts, and also tell our children to stop the violent video games for just one week to see how the profound effects can happen when we were children there were no such evil violent videos we went out to play  with our friends or go to the beach not sit eat and murder on video games this  is insane so for one week we vow to focus all our energy on good things positive thoughts for jasper and his amazing mother Julie the family and friends who care about him so that we can tap into that powerful magnetic field high above earth and bring about change proof and this child back from the shadow world of a coma with stories that will make us smile and proof that we can do so much if we just focus our positive thoughts and love on good.

Jasper Johnson is in bellevue south 8th floor let’s start sending flowers and good wishes and any of you who know Julie by her teaching or music or from Lincoln center or any of the other venues please send get well wish for her son and God find a way to help here with the huge pressure of hospital bills as we all know how expensive hospital care is so if you are one of the amazing people who come to this blog and care about the same values I do then please dig deep send great vibes and your healing energy to this family at a time of such need thanks and god bless its true Thought can change the world let’s thought change this common situation I know we can do it.

Amazing and wonderful news.  Today Jasper reached up and worked at grabbing a ball from his therapist today…Way to go Jasper.  I was there along with his mother when this happened.  It was not easy but he is working hard and will do it.

How to Lose Weight Using a Hybrid High Fiber Diet

The first thing you need to know if you want to lose weight is that you have been lied to and told a mountain of half-truths. I am not a doctor so you will need to decide for yourself what to believe and what not to believe. This document is my opinion and is what I truly believe.

Weight loss is hard, or so we thought.  For most of the history of humanity we were not overweight. People in the past ate more food, in some countries they still do, but they are fit. A few years ago I visited Romania. I was not able to eat half of the amount of food they ate yet they were all very thin. In the past, heart disease was rare, obesity was rare. So many of the health concerns of today were rare in the past that it points to some change that have caused these concerns to balloon. Large changes in statistical numbers do not happen by themselves.

One thing that you need to know up front is that I don’t believe any single diet will get you to your weight loss goal if you are already obese. There are a lot of reasons for that but one of the most important reasons is that body fat is actually an organ. It has a large impact on your body’s hormones and these hormones can make it very hard to lose weight. Your body was designed to gain weight in times of plenty and lose it in times of famine.   Your body is designed to not lose weight quickly because it equates that with death.

One other thing you need to know is that medical doctors have been misled and they in turn may mislead their patents. Doctors want you to lose weight by restricting the calories that you eat. If you have tried that you know it doesn’t work. Just to be clear, I don’t think doctors are lying to you. I think they were lied to and are telling you what they truly believe. If you want to lose weight your medical doctor must become your partner in this effort but you will need to know when to inform them that you wish to do something other than what they are telling you and then discuss it. It is called taking personal responsibility for your own health instead of fobbing it off on an overworked doctor.

Did you know that smoking was not common in the United States before World War I? It became common because Medical Doctors recommended smoking as healthy.[1] The Department of Defense started issuing packs of cigarettes to the troops and encouraged them to smoke.[2] When the troops came home so did their habit of smoking.

Before that, in the early 1900’s Medical Doctors pushed a drug called Radithor as a cure all.[3] Radithor was basically the radioactive substance Radium. Many people died of Radium poisoning including wealthy industrialist Eeben Byers[4], who on his doctor’s advice consumed over 1,000 bottles of the drug radithor.   The deaths from ingesting Radium are extremely painful. I could go on about other things that doctors told people to do that we now know are silly but you get the point.

The Cholesterol theory of heart disease is being pushed by Medical Doctors today. The drugs used to treat this, (e.g., Statins), are a multibillion dollar business.[5] These drugs are a manufactured version of a natural spice but are much more expensive and have many side effects.[6] The real problem is that the Cholesterol theory of heart disease is wrong.   Many scientists know it is wrong, yet Congress pushed it as official.[7] (Watch the video referenced in this footnote.) It is believed that scientists and Medical Doctors who bucked Washington on this error lost their federal funding.

This is not intended to demonize Medical Doctors. Most Doctors care about their patients and truly try to help. The fact of the matter is that Doctors are people too and can be misled just like anyone else. This is critical for you to understand because a lot of what I will be saying later in this paper will be hard to believe otherwise. Use your best judgment, read scientific papers, talk to experts. Do not take my word on it because I am not an expert. This is just what I as an individual believe.

Many diets work but then all the weight comes back, sometimes even more. At some point all diets plateau where weight loss just stops. Exercise alone doesn’t work for most people unless you are hard-core and very few people want to do that. There are also a lot of risks to exercise, even supervised. I had knee, elbow, neck, foot and arm problems all caused by excessive exercise. There are so many diets and so many supplements that promise weight loss and most of them don’t seem to work for most people. What is missing?

If you are old enough you remember that being fat was rare. Fat jokes were funny because so few people were fat. Remember the 1970’s? That was the last time that most people were thin and didn’t have to lose weight. Lots of things changed in the 1980’s, especially how our food was grown, how it was prepared, served and processed.

 

Let’s take a look at several diets and weight loss methods that all sort of work, their drawbacks and how to correct them. The diets I want to look at are:

  1. The Atkins or Low Carbohydrate diet
  2. The Wheat Belly Diet
  3. The Fiber 35 Diet
  4. Exercise with restricted calories
  5. Water Fasting
  6. Weight Watchers

The Aitkins or Low Carbohydrate diet. Dr. Atkins was not the first to suggest a low carbohydrate diet but he was the first to make it simple, make it practical and to make it popular. There are many low carbohydrate diets including the Zone Diet, the South Beach Diet, the Ketogenic Diet.  The first published low carbohydrate diet was published in 1864 by William Banting who lost so much weight that he published a book so that others could benefit from this discovery.  

Low Carbohydrate diets can be broken into the following general categories:

  1. Low Carb, high fat.
  2. Low Carb, low fat.
  3. Low Carb including low or high fat meats.
  4. Low Carb Vegetarians including dairy and eggs.
  5. Low Carb Vegan without any animal products.

 

You will have to determine which of these low carb diets is best for you but for me, I believe that long term a low carbohydrate, high saturated fat diet is best for maintenance and my health. That would be the Low Carb, High Fat meats with dairy and eggs.

All low carb diets work but can be hard to stay on because they lack variety. Depending upon what caused you to gain weight this diet can be slow to work. For example, thyroid and adrenal issues will cause you to lose weight slowly or not at all.[8] The benefit is that this diet actually works.   There are many benefits to this diet beyond weight loss. There are many good books on this subject. I suggest the Aitkins book in addition to the book, Living the Low Carb Life by Jonny Bowden, M.A., C.N.S.

Many people implement the Aitkins diet incorrectly and cause problems for themselves. Some people think that you can only eat meat on the Aitkins diet because meats have no carbs. While meats are an important part of the diet since they are satisfying and provided needed fats and protein they are not intended to be exclusive. Dr. Aitkins stressed the need for low carb vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables.

Again, one problem with the Aitkins diet is that it is so boring that few can stay on it. Otherwise it is one of the healthiest and least painful diets you can go on. Another problem is that this diet will plateau, just like all the other diets. I have experience this many times and once you plateau it is very hard to get weight loss restarted by staying on the same diet. It is like hitting your head on the wall and expecting a different result when you do it again.

The Wheat Belly Diet. This diet is easy to understand and implement but hard to maintain. You have to eliminate all wheat and any grain that contains gluten. People who suffer from Sprue Celiac disease have to live on this diet. The author William Davis, MD states on the cover of his book, “Wheat Belly,” “Lose the Wheat, Lose the Weight, and Find Your Path Back to Health.” Dr. Davis makes a very compelling argument. On page 129 he states that “whole grains such as wheat are the cause for much of the acid heavy nature of the modern diet.” A healthy human has an alkaline body chemistry yet acid body chemistry is common in developed nations. Dr. Davis is pointing specifically to wheat as the main cause. He also makes the point that modern whole wheat bread has a glycemic index of 72 while table sugar only has an index of 59! This means that sugar is actually safer to eat than whole wheat bread. In fact, modern whole wheat bread has a higher glycemic index than a Mars candy bar at 68 or a Snickers bar at 41.[9]

 

Here is my take on this diet. It is a great benefit to health but you are just not going to lose much weight on it. After a few weeks of not eating any wheat I ate a little. It gave me an upset stomach. That told me that maybe wheat is not all that good for me. I tried it a few more times with the same result each time. Modern wheat is not healthy for me and may not be healthy for you. It is also very high in carbohydrates so if you combine this diet with a low carbohydrate diet you get the benefits of both diets in one plan.

The Fiber 35 Diet. This diet also works but it is not as easy to implement and mistakes can cause you to stop weight loss. In a nutshell you have to eat a minimum of 35 grams of dietary fiber a day and watch your calories. The fiber accelerates the weight loss and helps you to stay satisfied on the diet.

 

Exercise with restricted calories

 

Water Fasting

I would not even mention water fasting if I had not done it myself.   I will explain my experience in detail but first let me say this. DO NOT DO THIS.   I read several books on water fasting, the Master’s Cleanse, etc. I did water fasting a few times. The longest was 18 days. During this fast I lost 3 lbs per day.   This is not something to be desired as the cost to my health was too high. Some people will diet when fasting. For the first three days I was ravenously hungry. After the third day the hunger faded away. Sometime during that first week my friends and family noticed mental changes in me. I was irritable, I was losing concentration and I started to make mistakes. In addition to the weight loss I found that I was experiencing some of the symptoms of mineral depletion which could lead to heart attacks. Of course during the fast it was hard for me to perceive any of this. What finally convinced me to stop the fast was that I turned mean. At 18 days I ended the fast and that is when I found out that restarting to eat was painful. I suffered severe hunger, cramping, gas, diarrhea, general pains, low blood pressure which resulted in headaches. I was miserable mineral depleted. I tried fasting a couple of more times and each time the results were the same. This is when I found that fasting as a cure has a long history, most of it gruesome. Reference the fake doctor Linda Hazzard who was responsible for the deaths of several patents from starvation.[10]

In fact, the entire process of starting to eat after starvation is well known in the medical literature and is called Re-feeding Syndrome.[11] This is a serious complication where severed electrolyte, fluid and metabolic abnormalities can cause death. In fact, the greatest risk is not during the starvation, which can lead to death but for the first 4 days after starting to eat again. According to the British Medical Journal at 4 days after starting to eat low levels of phosphate may cause muscle breakdown, immune system dysfunction, low blood pressure, heart failure, respiratory failure, irregular heartbeat, seizures, coma and death.

Again I state, DO NOT DO THIS. Consult a medical doctor if you don’t believe me.

Tricks for Weight Loss

Eating can speed up your metabolism. This is why people suggest that breakfast is a critical meal.   It kick starts your metabolism and it stays in a higher gear for many hours after you are done eating. I both agree and disagree with this statement. I never liked to eat breakfast. In fact the only time I really wanted breakfast was when I didn’t eat dinner. While there are many benefits to eating breakfast I think it is more important to learn to listen to your body. If you body says don’t eat then don’t. You should never eat just because it is time.

Even more important than eating breakfast is what you eat for your first meal of the day. If you eat cereal or sweet fruit you will damage the weight loss process. You need to eat protein and fats. The very best thing you could eat are whole eggs. The easiest way to prepare and eat eggs is to hard boil them.[12] You can prepare the eggs in advance and store them in the refrigerator or you can pickle them for an even greater taste treat. If you think eggs are too dry then add mayonnaise or any sugar free salad dressing to them for a super tasty and carb free breakfast.

Eat Healthy Fats

I do not consider the following fats and oils to be healthy for eating: Margarine, Synthetic Lard such as Crisco, Hydrogenated Oils, Corn Oil, Canola Oil, Soy Bean Oil, Cotton Seed Oil, all other oils that are liquid at room temperature with the exceptions as noted. Besides, large commercially available oils from corn, cottonseed, canola and soya bean seeds are largely from genetically modified seeds and these should be avoided.

I do consider the following fats and oils to be healthy for eating: all meat fats including Lard, real butter, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil. Notice that all of these are solid at room temperature. These are the saturated fats which the doctors have been telling you to not eat. If you watched the video I reference above then you already know that the reason doctors tell you to avoid these fats are based on scientific results that were, basically, lies.
