 Background Story of the Product

To understand why our products are the way they are, you need to understand The Power of NO!™ The Power of NO!™ is a brand of food products come to market for the purpose of making it absolutely clear to consumers which food products are good for them, and which are not. It enables people to have the power to not accept food that may hurt you. Of course, it’s very hard to say “no”, but even harder to know when to say NO. Due to constantly changing opinions in the medical community, ingredients once thought to be healthy are now being critically reconsidered, leaving consumers confused as to what they can eat safely.

Radatti Foods are fiber-based foods that have no gluten, and actually promote healthy digestion. I didn’t invent these produces for the public. I invented them to help my own family. I used only ingredients that I wanted my family to have and kept out everything that I felt was harmful. or that did not contribute to the beneficial nature of the product. Meaning, some products include ingredients that may be neutral, but may drive up the cost of the produce. Money was never a factor. If ingredients didn’t help, they weren’t used.

Food needs to be more than healthy, it needs to stimulate and delight. What good is food that is never eaten? Our cake tastes like cake of our childhoods, but without any harmful ingredients. The other products I invented taste and have the texture of old world traditional food. No cardboard texture, no off taste or after-taste. Marie Antoinette supposedly said “let them eat cake”. In this case it might be a Doctor telling the masses to eat cake, as long as it is gluten free and fiber-based!

This is not my first rodeo. I started my work in the food business years ago, with a doctor specializing in low-carb diets. I invented more products including a rice substitute that had zero calories and was fiber based. The time is right now to offer these products to wider markets. Not only are more people seeking gluten- gmo free, options, but science is telling us that we are all at some level damaged by gluten, and should at the very least, moderate our diets to limit exposure.

We must decide if we want change for our lives its easy to say sure i want that but most of us don’t have the patience or determination to push hard for this change and the challenges we face to alter our own long reality to a broad new path of change .catch the wave

first we need to choose the path forward shall we move forward easy and hope for a gradual change before we pass on to the next existence or should we stop the procrastination and focus on this change with a hard determination to push the bad things out and give us the hope and chance to find inner peace and health tranquility is a big bonus to this hard choice we can bridge the problems and sorrows we have had to bare by  bad choices and worse selections of food and diet and even lack of physical exercise; building a new direction and broad new enjoyment of life’s many amazing choices that we can bring about by working hard and pressing towards a more perfect balance of good diet strong inner strength and health using the desire of knowledge and change towards a better place.

The tragic truth is most of us lack that drive and determination needed to bring about that global life force change it’s easy to say but hard to express like the taste of perfect chocolate we remember how our mouth watered when it started to excite our taste buds but can’t seem to describe it. Given the choice if you could walk till the last day and experience all the pain and sorrow of bad choices i am pretty sure most of us  would jump off the cliff towards positive change and a better list of choices to secure better health. dynamic choice of inner peace that comes from such bold and eventful choices being brought to life in our daily existence like ancient masters of Martial Arts day in day out hours and hours on the same move to keep repeating it until  you’re able to walk that path without a second thought able to know without worry or lapse to fall off the golden choices you have made for change.

The first thing you need to know if you want to lose weight is that you have been lied to and told a mountain of half-truths. I am not a doctor so you will need to decide for yourself what to believe and what not to believe. This document is my opinion and is what I truly believe.

Weight loss is hard, or so we thought.  For most of the history of humanity we were not overweight. People in the past ate more food, in some countries they still do, but they are fit. A few years ago I visited Romania. I was not able to eat half of the amount of food they ate yet they were all very thin. In the past, heart disease was rare, obesity was rare. So many of the health concerns of today were rare in the past that it points to some change that have caused these concerns to balloon. Large changes in statistical numbers do not happen by themselves.

One thing that you need to know up front is that I don’t believe any single diet will get you to your weight loss goal if you are already obese. There are a lot of reasons for that but one of the most important reasons is that body fat is actually an organ. It has a large impact on your body’s hormones and these hormones can make it very hard to lose weight. Your body was designed to gain weight in times of plenty and lose it in times of famine.   Your body is designed to not lose weight quickly because it equates that with death.

One other thing you need to know is that medical doctors have been misled and they in turn may mislead their patents. Doctors want you to lose weight by restricting the calories that you eat. If you have tried that you know it doesn’t work. Just to be clear, I don’t think doctors are lying to you. I think they were lied to and are telling you what they truly believe. If you want to lose weight your medical doctor must become your partner in this effort but you will need to know when to inform them that you wish to do something other than what they are telling you and then discuss it. It is called taking personal responsibility for your own health instead of fobbing it off on an overworked doctor.

Did you know that smoking was not common in the United States before World War I? It became common because Medical Doctors recommended smoking as healthy.[1] The Department of Defense started issuing packs of cigarettes to the troops and encouraged them to smoke.[2] When the troops came home so did their habit of smoking.

Before that, in the early 1900’s Medical Doctors pushed a drug called Radithor as a cure all.[3] Radithor was basically the radioactive substance Radium. Many people died of Radium poisoning including wealthy industrialist Eeben Byers[4], who on his doctor’s advice consumed over 1,000 bottles of the drug radithor.   The deaths from ingesting Radium are extremely painful. I could go on about other things that doctors told people to do that we now know are silly but you get the point.

The Cholesterol theory of heart disease is being pushed by Medical Doctors today. The drugs used to treat this, (e.g., Statins), are a multibillion dollar business.[5] These drugs are a manufactured version of a natural spice but are much more expensive and have many side effects.[6] The real problem is that the Cholesterol theory of heart disease is wrong.   Many scientists know it is wrong, yet Congress pushed it as official.[7] (Watch the video referenced in this footnote.) It is believed that scientists and Medical Doctors who bucked Washington on this error lost their federal funding.

This is not intended to demonize Medical Doctors. Most Doctors care about their patients and truly try to help. The fact of the matter is that Doctors are people too and can be misled just like anyone else. This is critical for you to understand because a lot of what I will be saying later in this paper will be hard to believe otherwise. Use your best judgment, read scientific papers, talk to experts. Do not take my word on it because I am not an expert. This is just what I as an individual believe.

Many diets work but then all the weight comes back, sometimes even more. At some point all diets plateau where weight loss just stops. Exercise alone doesn’t work for most people unless you are hard-core and very few people want to do that. There are also a lot of risks to exercise, even supervised. I had knee, elbow, neck, foot and arm problems all caused by excessive exercise. There are so many diets and so many supplements that promise weight loss and most of them don’t seem to work for most people. What is missing?

If you are old enough you remember that being fat was rare. Fat jokes were funny because so few people were fat. Remember the 1970’s? That was the last time that most people were thin and didn’t have to lose weight. Lots of things changed in the 1980’s, especially how our food was grown, how it was prepared, served and processed.

 

Let’s take a look at several diets and weight loss methods that all sort of work, their drawbacks and how to correct them. The diets I want to look at are:

  1. The Atkins or Low Carbohydrate diet
  2. The Wheat Belly Diet
  3. The Fiber 35 Diet
  4. Exercise with restricted calories
  5. Water Fasting
  6. Weight Watchers

The Aitkins or Low Carbohydrate diet. Dr. Atkins was not the first to suggest a low carbohydrate diet but he was the first to make it simple, make it practical and to make it popular. There are many low carbohydrate diets including the Zone Diet, the South Beach Diet, the Ketogenic Diet.  The first published low carbohydrate diet was published in 1864 by William Banting who lost so much weight that he published a book so that others could benefit from this discovery.  

Low Carbohydrate diets can be broken into the following general categories:

  1. Low Carb, high fat.
  2. Low Carb, low fat.
  3. Low Carb including low or high fat meats.
  4. Low Carb Vegetarians including dairy and eggs.
  5. Low Carb Vegan without any animal products.

 

You will have to determine which of these low carb diets is best for you but for me, I believe that long term a low carbohydrate, high saturated fat diet is best for maintenance and my health. That would be the Low Carb, High Fat meats with dairy and eggs.

All low carb diets work but can be hard to stay on because they lack variety. Depending upon what caused you to gain weight this diet can be slow to work. For example, thyroid and adrenal issues will cause you to lose weight slowly or not at all.[8] The benefit is that this diet actually works.   There are many benefits to this diet beyond weight loss. There are many good books on this subject. I suggest the Aitkins book in addition to the book, Living the Low Carb Life by Jonny Bowden, M.A., C.N.S.

Many people implement the Aitkins diet incorrectly and cause problems for themselves. Some people think that you can only eat meat on the Aitkins diet because meats have no carbs. While meats are an important part of the diet since they are satisfying and provided needed fats and protein they are not intended to be exclusive. Dr. Aitkins stressed the need for low carb vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables.

Again, one problem with the Aitkins diet is that it is so boring that few can stay on it. Otherwise it is one of the healthiest and least painful diets you can go on. Another problem is that this diet will plateau, just like all the other diets. I have experience this many times and once you plateau it is very hard to get weight loss restarted by staying on the same diet. It is like hitting your head on the wall and expecting a different result when you do it again.

The Wheat Belly Diet. This diet is easy to understand and implement but hard to maintain. You have to eliminate all wheat and any grain that contains gluten. People who suffer from Sprue Celiac disease have to live on this diet. The author William Davis, MD states on the cover of his book, “Wheat Belly,” “Lose the Wheat, Lose the Weight, and Find Your Path Back to Health.” Dr. Davis makes a very compelling argument. On page 129 he states that “whole grains such as wheat are the cause for much of the acid heavy nature of the modern diet.” A healthy human has an alkaline body chemistry yet acid body chemistry is common in developed nations. Dr. Davis is pointing specifically to wheat as the main cause. He also makes the point that modern whole wheat bread has a glycemic index of 72 while table sugar only has an index of 59! This means that sugar is actually safer to eat than whole wheat bread. In fact, modern whole wheat bread has a higher glycemic index than a Mars candy bar at 68 or a Snickers bar at 41.[9]

 

Here is my take on this diet. It is a great benefit to health but you are just not going to lose much weight on it. After a few weeks of not eating any wheat I ate a little. It gave me an upset stomach. That told me that maybe wheat is not all that good for me. I tried it a few more times with the same result each time. Modern wheat is not healthy for me and may not be healthy for you. It is also very high in carbohydrates so if you combine this diet with a low carbohydrate diet you get the benefits of both diets in one plan.

The Fiber 35 Diet. This diet also works but it is not as easy to implement and mistakes can cause you to stop weight loss. In a nutshell you have to eat a minimum of 35 grams of dietary fiber a day and watch your calories. The fiber accelerates the weight loss and helps you to stay satisfied on the diet.

 

Exercise with restricted calories

 

Water Fasting

I would not even mention water fasting if I had not done it myself.   I will explain my experience in detail but first let me say this. DO NOT DO THIS.   I read several books on water fasting, the Master’s Cleanse, etc. I did water fasting a few times. The longest was 18 days. During this fast I lost 3 lbs per day.   This is not something to be desired as the cost to my health was too high. Some people will diet when fasting. For the first three days I was ravenously hungry. After the third day the hunger faded away. Sometime during that first week my friends and family noticed mental changes in me. I was irritable, I was losing concentration and I started to make mistakes. In addition to the weight loss I found that I was experiencing some of the symptoms of mineral depletion which could lead to heart attacks. Of course during the fast it was hard for me to perceive any of this. What finally convinced me to stop the fast was that I turned mean. At 18 days I ended the fast and that is when I found out that restarting to eat was painful. I suffered severe hunger, cramping, gas, diarrhea, general pains, low blood pressure which resulted in headaches. I was miserable mineral depleted. I tried fasting a couple of more times and each time the results were the same. This is when I found that fasting as a cure has a long history, most of it gruesome. Reference the fake doctor Linda Hazzard who was responsible for the deaths of several patents from starvation.[10]

In fact, the entire process of starting to eat after starvation is well known in the medical literature and is called Re-feeding Syndrome.[11] This is a serious complication where severed electrolyte, fluid and metabolic abnormalities can cause death. In fact, the greatest risk is not during the starvation, which can lead to death but for the first 4 days after starting to eat again. According to the British Medical Journal at 4 days after starting to eat low levels of phosphate may cause muscle breakdown, immune system dysfunction, low blood pressure, heart failure, respiratory failure, irregular heartbeat, seizures, coma and death.

Again I state, DO NOT DO THIS. Consult a medical doctor if you don’t believe me.

Tricks for Weight Loss

Eating can speed up your metabolism. This is why people suggest that breakfast is a critical meal.   It kick starts your metabolism and it stays in a higher gear for many hours after you are done eating. I both agree and disagree with this statement. I never liked to eat breakfast. In fact the only time I really wanted breakfast was when I didn’t eat dinner. While there are many benefits to eating breakfast I think it is more important to learn to listen to your body. If you body says don’t eat then don’t. You should never eat just because it is time.

Even more important than eating breakfast is what you eat for your first meal of the day. If you eat cereal or sweet fruit you will damage the weight loss process. You need to eat protein and fats. The very best thing you could eat are whole eggs. The easiest way to prepare and eat eggs is to hard boil them.[12] You can prepare the eggs in advance and store them in the refrigerator or you can pickle them for an even greater taste treat. If you think eggs are too dry then add mayonnaise or any sugar free salad dressing to them for a super tasty and carb free breakfast.

Eat Healthy Fats

I do not consider the following fats and oils to be healthy for eating: Margarine, Synthetic Lard such as Crisco, Hydrogenated Oils, Corn Oil, Canola Oil, Soy Bean Oil, Cotton Seed Oil, all other oils that are liquid at room temperature with the exceptions as noted. Besides, large commercially available oils from corn, cottonseed, canola and soya bean seeds are largely from genetically modified seeds and these should be avoided.

I do consider the following fats and oils to be healthy for eating: all meat fats including Lard, real butter, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil. Notice that all of these are solid at room temperature. These are the saturated fats which the doctors have been telling you to not eat. If you watched the video I reference above then you already know that the reason doctors tell you to avoid these fats are based on scientific results that were, basically, lies.
