Rain, weather and your happy health

Rain

rain-o-glassI heard the drops outside tapping my windowpane and felt the subtle pull to stay in bed and cozy into the warmth of my quilt to the comfortable sound of the pattering light raindrops. Alas shortly after came the sounds of impending awakening; people walking by clanking dishes and other such signs of civilization that we blissfully forget for brief periods when we are fortunate enough to sleep.

I then got up did my morning rituals and looked out the door. The purifying rainwater was falling gently refreshing the air for us as G-D intended and the atmosphere felt clean and delightful. I looked at my plant friends and knew that today was perfect for both watering and misting them. I have come to the understanding that the indoor plant people like to be misted when it rains outside. I feel it gives them a sense of connection with their out of doors relatives; both domesticated such as city planted trees and the wild un-cultivated as well.

Turning back to face my next step in this day I am getting ready to help a friend of mine who is coming over for an adjustment. Knowing this friend he will enjoy walking in this rain and that will help with the work we will be doing. The universal forces of naturesiberian-children-play-in-show are great healers and can be worked with as such.I just saw a video where Siberian children run and play in bathing suites in the snow and freezing weather. It makes their immune systems stronger and keeps them healthier. They know how to use nature to their advantage. We can learn from that if we wish to.

May everyone have a wonderful holiday season; Christmas and Chanukah both fall on the same day this year… Bless each other.   Rebecca
