To understand why our products are the way they are, you need to understand The power of NO!™ The power of NO!™ is the power to not accept food that may hurt you or tastes bad. Of course, it’s very hard to say “no”, but even harder to know when to say NO. Due to constantly changing opinions in the medical community, ingredients once thought to be healthy are now being critically reconsidered, leaving consumers confused as to what they can eat safely.

I didn’t invent fiber based foods for the public. I invented it to help my own family. I put only ingredients that I wanted my family to have. Ingredients that I felt were beneficial and kept out everything that I felt was bad or that did not contribute to the beneficial nature of the product. That means that things that were not beneficial but might make more money were never considered. If it didn’t belong, if it didn’t help, it wasn’t used. Money was never a factor.

Just being good for you it not enough. What good is food that is never eaten? The cake tastes like cake. The texture is like cake. The other products I invented taste and have the texture of real food. No cardboard texture, no off taste. Marie Antoinette supposedly said to “let them eat cake”. In this case it might be a Doctor telling them to eat cake.

This is not my first rodeo. I started the food business and invited 2 partners. One was a food distributor and one was a low carb doctor. Each of us put money into the business. The food distributor decided to drop out and I had to refund his money. Restarted with just the doctor. The business started to grow. I invented more products including a rice substitute that had zero calories and was fiber based. Then the problems started. It took 5 years of lawyers fighting to get rid of my partner. After that life intervened. It took a few years before friends like Rebecca convinced me to restart the company.

The power of NO!™ We are grain free, gluten free. Most wheat-free Gluten-free products are made from cassava, cauliflower, potatoes, soy, rice, Toro (which is an oriental potato) or yucca.

The power of NO!™ to cassava or Yucca (as they are both different but very closely related, they are both in the thyrogenic family of foods; meaning that if you even have a hint of a problem with your thyroid your Dr. will probably tell you not to eat these as they will further irritate your thyroid. And your Dr. would be right.

The power of NO!™ to Cauliflower as it is also a thyroid irritant. They are in the family of Cruciferous vegetables which are known to be thyroid irritants.

The power of NO!™ to Potatoes or Taro (oriental potatoes). Potatoes are nightshades. They contain a series of chemicals in them that are called the Solanaceae family of toxins. This family of chemical toxic irritants have been known as a probably cause of muscle, bone and arthritic irritants as well as possible brain fog and other symptoms. Another name these chemicals go by is Glycoalkaloids and they have a powerful trick up their sleeves—they also act as neurotoxins, by blocking the enzyme cholinesterase.  This enzyme is responsible for breaking down acetylcholine, a vital neurotransmitter that carries signals between nerve cells and muscle cells.  When the enzyme is blocked, acetylcholine can accumulate and electrically over-stimulate the predator’s muscle cells.  This can lead to paralysis, convulsions, respiratory arrest, and death.  Military “nerve gases” work exactly the same way. We don’t want them in our food.

The power of NO!™ to Rice. Many wheat-free products are made from rice. Refined rice is very high in carbohydrates and empty calories. Some people find it also dehydrates the stomach and causes digestion to become more difficult.

The power of NO!™ to Soy. Soy is a common food allergen; Also, soy contains plant estrogens, as well as enzymes that can harm the thyroid and cause digestive issues. In some medical studies soy has been connected with several forms of glandular cancers.

 The power of NO!™ to wheat or any other grains, or grain brans of any kind. The product has no-gluten, with no non-nutritive fillers like those found in oat bran additives.

The power of NO!™ to Carbohydrates. Our products are naturally low to no in carbohydrate and contain no high fructose corn syrup, a possible culprit in obesity and blood sugar problems.

The power of NO!™ to Preservatives. If preservatives can kill the micro-organisms responsible for the decay of food, then what are they doing to your body’s natural flora?

The power of NO!™ to artificial colors. Some people react badly to artificial colors. Why even bother when natural ingredients look good?

The power of NO!™ to artificial flavors. Although some artificial flavors taste better than the real thing and cost less, there lots of reasons not to use them, which is why we don’t; we only use natural flavors.

The power of NO!™ to refined sugar. Our flour is sugar-free, which means that we use a low-calorie, natural alternative sweetener that is both low carbohydrate and low calorie.

The power of NO!™ to polypropylene glycol. This is a manufactured preservative that is common in flavors, even so-called “natural” flavors. Other companies use this product in such a dilute form that it doesn’t have to be listed as an ingredient. Our package doesn’t list it because we don’t use it.

The power of NO!™ to sugar alcohol. Some medical sources believe sugar alcohol adversely affects blood sugar levels. Although it is a very common product in so-called “sugar free” food, it is also the reason so many of these foods cause diarrhea. Our flour doesn’t use it.

The power of NO!™ to aluminum. We use a name-brand, aluminum-free baking powder. Most baking sodas sold in stores use aluminum salts. It costs more but aluminum belongs in machines, not bodies.

The Power of No™ to bad fats. While fats add flavor and satiety to food, what fats are used should be a choice, not a requirement. Our products contain no fat in themselves. You add natural fats from healthy sources like eggs and butter! The butter can be swapped out using healthy oils such as olive oil or coconut oil. The choice is yours. You add that to the product after you get it and when you create your masterpieces.

Studies have shown that fiber is filling, absorbs toxins from the body, and can help avert many health problems caused by a high-carb, low fiber diet made of processed foods. Our flour is 99% vegetable fiber and can provide almost 100% of the recommended daily fiber requirement!

The Power of Yes!™ to non-sugar or artificial sweeteners. In our flower we use monk fruit as a natural sweetener, pure and real, it is made by nature not by man.

The Power of Yes!™ to no carbohydrates. Highly refined foods have large amounts of calorie-rich carbohydrates and very little else. Our products can help with weight loss and blood sugar control by smoothing out the peaks and troughs of insulin production caused by empty carbohydrate calories.

The Power of Yes!™ to a healthy alternative to sugary, fat-laden, chemical-loaded bakery items!

Here is how this works. The federal government counts Fiber as Carbohydrates for the purpose of reporting nutrition. This is true chemically but not biologically. Biologically fiber is not absorbed by the body. Other carbohydrates are sugars and starches and directly effect the body. To determine EFFECTIVE Carbohydrates you subtract grams of fiber from grams of carbohydrates to determine the real carbohydrate value for the purposes of biology.   Dr. Atkins called this ECarbs or Effective Carbs.

So our product has

Total Carbs = 15g

Total Fiber = 15g

15 – 15 = 0 grams

0 grams ECarbs = 0 calories
